Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: New York City, NY (Onsite)

Duration: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Scrum Master for agile implementations.
• Promote Scrum practices, agility, and a culture of adaptability.
• Coach teams on self-management and cross-functionality.
• Facilitate delivery of high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done.
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
• Ensure all Scrum events are conducted productively and on time.
• Keep the Sprint backlog updated with well-defined tasks.
• Act as Project Manager for waterfall-based implementations.
• Develop clear project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
• Create and manage project schedules to meet deadlines.
• Monitor project progress and quality metrics; apply corrective measures when needed.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Stakeholder & Resource Management
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain product backlogs.
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate status, issues, and successes to upper management.
• Advise on resource allocation to optimize the use of human, tech, and financial resources.
• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve goals.
• Foster open communication and collaboration across teams and with external partners.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of technical project management experience
• 3+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master
• Certified Professional Scrum Master Level I, II, or III
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• A technical Project manager in New York City, NY (Onsite)
