Summary:

Mendota Insurance is hiring for experienced Subrogation Claims Adjusters who are highly motivated and capable of collecting subrogation dollars from insurance companies and at-fault claimants. This position will be a valued member of a subrogation team focused on the daily activities of recovering monies Mendota Insurance is legally entitled to collecting. This is a work from home position.

Essential Job Functions:

· Prepare subrogation demand packages to submit to carriers or individual debtors.

· Prepare and respond timely to filings via company Arbitration Forum.

· Negotiate settlement, obtain appropriate releases and authorize repayment plans.

· Maintain detailed claims diary of all subrogation recovery efforts.

· Update claim file information to ensure an accurate record of recovery activity.

· Conduct asset research using public records databases, run skip traces and license plate checks.

· Perform other duties as required by management

Required Skills and Experience:

· Minimum of five (5) years in the insurance industry.

· Minimum of two (2) years of insurance subrogation recovery experience.

· A focus on non-standard personal lines auto a plus.

· Arbitration filing experience.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational and analytical skills, required.

· Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Education Requirements:

· High School Diploma required.

· College Degree preferred.
